We provided the full medical cover for the UCI world championship, this included the medical base set up with complete resuscitation bays, to hill cover for the competitors and spectators.
Nevis medics have provided medical teams for events, expeditions, music festivals, film and photo shoots, specialising in remote and rural locations.
Proud to have supported Experience 4x4 with the medical support for the INEOS Grenadier launch expedition, film promotion and event at the Goodwood motor show.
Medical consultancy
Failing to prepare is preparing to fail.
Depending on the type of event you are involved with, it will almost certainly have some aspect of first aid or medical requirement. This may be as simple as basic first aid cover with 2 members of staff trained to a minimal level of first aid, or involve a number of highly qualified and experienced staff ranging from consultant doctors, nurse practitioners and paramedics.
Whichever size event, there will be legal requirements to ensure the correct cover is in place, Nevis medics can provide the risk assessments and the medical plan to advise you of your needs.
Once this aspect of the event is finalised, we can submit the documentation to the relevant agencies and liaise with them to ensure full comprehension of the medical and rescue plans.
Training and Courses
Basic life support to Remote and Rural Emergencies
With backgrounds in health care and pre-hospital casualty care through mountain rescue, ski patrol and event cover, we can offer courses to pass on life saving skills gained through our experience and knowledge.
We have 15 years of experience in delivering courses to the highest standards to other health care professionals as well as other outdoor enthusiasts such as bike guides, mountain guides and members of mountain rescue teams.
